Why I work this way

I Don’t Do Cookie-Cutter Packages. Here’s Why.

Every agency has the same tiered table. Starter. Growth. Premium. Three columns, twenty bullet points, and a “Most Popular” badge in the middle. It looks neat. It’s also not how good SEO actually works.

The truth is, proper SEO should cover all the fundamentals regardless of what you pay. The difference between clients isn’t which features they unlock – it’s how competitive their market is, how much work needs doing, and what growth looks like for their specific business.

So instead of fitting you into a box, I start with a conversation. I look at your website, your market and your goals – and then I tell you honestly what I think needs doing and what it would cost. No pressure, no sales pitch.

1
Good SEO isn’t modular
Technical, content, links, local – these all work together. Selling them as separate tiers means some clients get half a job.
2
Your business is specific
A local plumber and a B2B logistics firm need completely different strategies. A fixed package can’t account for that.
3
I want it to work for both of us
If I know exactly what you need and what you can invest, I can set realistic expectations and actually deliver them.
The honest version
“I’ve run businesses. I’ve built and sold one over 11 years. I know what it feels like to spend money on something and wonder if it’s working. I treat every client like I’d want to be treated.

The process

How We Get to a Price That Makes Sense

No forms that go nowhere, no automated quote tools. Here’s what actually happens when you get in touch.

1
You get in touch
Drop me a message or book a call. Tell me a bit about your business and what you’re hoping to achieve. No commitment required.
2
I look under the bonnet
I review your website and your current search visibility before we speak – so the conversation is worth your time from the first minute.
3
We talk it through
I walk you through what I found, what I’d recommend, and give you a clear sense of what it would cost. No jargon, no hard sell.
4
You decide
If it makes sense, we get started. If not, you’ve still had a useful conversation about your website for free. Either way, no pressure.
What you always get

These Aren’t Add-Ons. They Come With Every Engagement.

Regardless of budget or scope, these are the things I consider non-negotiable if the work is going to be worth doing.

Proper keyword research
Not guesswork. The actual terms your customers are typing, mapped to the pages on your site that should be ranking for them.
Technical foundations
Speed, structure, schema, crawlability – the things Google needs to understand and rank your site. Sorted from the start, not bolted on later.
On-page optimisation
Titles, meta descriptions, headings, internal links, content structure – all the on-page signals that tell Google what each page is about.
Analytics and tracking
Google Analytics and Search Console set up and configured properly – so we know what’s working and you can see the results yourself.
Direct access to me
You deal with the person actually doing the work. No account managers, no handoffs, no delays because someone is chasing someone else.
Plain-English monthly reports
What moved, what we did, what’s coming next. Written for business owners, not for SEO specialists. No jargon, no confusing spreadsheets.
Why it pays for itself

What Does Good SEO Actually Cost You – and What Does It Return?

Here’s how the numbers look in practice across three different types of business. The specifics vary – the principle doesn’t.

Trades & heating
Gas Safe heating engineer
A local heating business covering Cheshire. Boiler replacements, servicing and plumbing. Good at the job but invisible on Google – losing work to competitors in the same town.
Monthly retainer £795/month
6-month investment £4,770
Average boiler replacement value £2,500
Jobs needed to break even 2 boiler replacements
In plain English
Two extra boiler jobs over six months covers the entire cost. A business ranking well for “boiler replacement [town]” should generate that in month one.
Health & wellness
Personal trainer or health coach
A health or fitness coach offering 1-2-1 sessions, online packages or group programmes. Word of mouth has got them this far, but it’s not predictable enough to grow on.
Monthly retainer £795/month
6-month investment £4,770
Average 3-month coaching package £900
Clients needed to break even 6 new clients
In plain English
Six new clients across six months – one a month – covers everything. Clients who stay on for a second package push that return significantly higher.
B2B services
Commercial services business
A logistics, cleaning, facilities or commercial services firm. Contract values are high, clients stay for years, but they’re rarely finding new business through Google – it’s all referrals.
Monthly retainer £795/month
6-month investment £4,770
Average annual contract value £12,000+
Contracts needed to break even Less than 1
In plain English
One new contract is worth two and a half years of SEO fees. For B2B businesses, a single inbound lead converting is a significant return on investment.

Figures are illustrative examples based on typical businesses in each sector. Your actual numbers will vary – which is exactly why we talk before anything else.

FAQs

Questions About Working With SEO Bridge

Why don’t you show package prices?

Because I don’t think it’s the right way to do it. A plumber in a market town needs something completely different from a B2B logistics firm. Fixed packages either overcharge one or underserve the other. I’d rather talk to you first.

What does “from £795/month” actually mean?

That’s the starting point for a monthly retainer. What you actually pay depends on your market, the scope of work and what you’re trying to achieve. I’ll give you a clear number after our first conversation – no vague estimates.

Are there setup fees or long-term contracts?

No setup fees. No long-term contracts. Everything runs month to month. You stay because the results are there, not because you’re tied in.

How long before I see results?

Most businesses see meaningful ranking improvements within 2 to 4 months. Google Business Profile and local work often shows results faster. SEO compounds over time – the longer it runs, the better it gets.

Do you do one-off work as well as retainers?

Yes. If you need a standalone audit, a site review, help with a specific issue or a content project, we can discuss that separately. Just get in touch and tell me what you’re after.

Can I combine SEO with social media management?

Yes – and the two work well together. Social builds brand recognition that drives direct searches, which is a trust signal for Google. Many clients run both. Get in touch to ask about combined pricing.

Who actually does the work?

Me. There are no account managers, no offshore teams, no juniors learning on your budget. When you get in touch, you speak to the person who will be doing your SEO. That’s the point.

What makes SEO Bridge different?

I’ve built and sold my own business. I know what it’s like to spend money on marketing and need it to work. That shapes how I approach every client – I’m a marketing partner, not just an SEO contractor.

Let’s Have an Honest Conversation About Your Business.
